This 90-minute evening cruise is a simple, scenic way to watch Brisbane go from sunset colours to full city lights, with standout sights like the Story Bridge and Kangaroo Cliffs, and an onboard bar for a drink or two. I love the city-lights views and the included complimentary charcuterie share board, because it turns a nice ride into a proper night out. One possible drawback to note up front: there is no guided commentary, so you are mostly here for the sights and music, not history lessons.
Timing is easy to plan because the departure switches by season. In winter (1 April to 30 September) you sail at 5.30pm, and in summer (1 October to 31 March) you depart at 6pm, returning about 7pm or 7.30pm. You meet at the Cultural Centre Public Pontoon on South Bank and board 15 minutes before sailing, but there is no hotel pickup, and it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
