Snorkling requires a wetsuit and for 'larger' people, they seem to underestimate what size you need. Putting on the wetsuit was a physically demanding exercise. It did keep me warm in the cool water. While snorkeling my face mask continually leaked despite all the best efforts. Since I had to stop to continually clear the mask, I was not able to keep up with the group because of the strong current. My snorkle did not have any protective covering, so the slightest splash caused me to have…”

A small group of us paddled out into the Sydney Harbour in beautiful, sunny weather and enjoyed Sam's entertaining commentary about the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and several other prominent buildings and homes seen from the water. We ate a nice breakfast at a local cafe called Thelma and Louise, where our table was awaiting us, and then paddled back to Lavender Bay. “Kayaking was really great experience. It was our first time kayaking and the currents were extremely strong while going towards the island. So the onward journey was tough but extremely enjoyable. The guides were helpful in correcting our techniques and encouraging us. Snokerling was a underwhelming as it was near the shore and the water was not clean due to the heavy currents. They provided water and snacks and took a few pictures while kayaking and snorkeling! The beach where the trip starts is really nice and we enjoyed spending time there after the trip. Do not forget your beach slippers as it is very hot!!”
